Kasa Celeste Aida

Kasa Celeste Aida is an old dwelling set inside a 19th-century building in the shadow of Gallipoli's Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
You are welcomed into a beautiful hallway with a barrel vault, a smooth concrete floor characteristic of the period, opus signinum, composed of finely crushed brick fragments (tiles or bricks) and fine mortar made from air lime. Beneath it is an ancient rainwater cistern, necessary, until the early 1900s, for the family's water needs.
An imposing staircase takes you up to the first floor, to the entrance of Kasa Celeste.
The apartment comprises an entrance hall with a French bed, living room, kitchen and kitchenette, bathroom and a loft bedroom with double beds, one below and one above.
The house is equipped with air conditioning.

The same staircase leads to the large terrace where guests can enjoy their evenings relaxing under a sky full of stars.
The entire mansion was used by my mother, Mrs. Aida. During the summer, she would move here from her home in Lecce to be near her children.
A very refined and elegant woman, a lover of beauty, an aesthete who loved everything that had a history. Her great passion for antiques led her to know the pieces she bought and had restored under her careful supervision. A true connoisseur!
